Memorial Hall

Ellen Pettit Memorial Hall, commonly referred to as The Memorial Hall, is situated on the High Street opposite the petrol station. It is an excellent venue for events and parties, offering seating for around 60 people and space for up to 100 standing guests. Its central location also makes it ideal for smaller gatherings in Woburn Sands, including fundraising events and classes.

While the hall itself does not have dedicated parking, there are parking options available nearby in Woburn Sands, including a free shopper’s car park within walking distance, all subject to standard restrictions. The building is wheelchair accessible; however, it does not currently provide a fully accessible toilet.

Hire costs vary depending on the type of booking. Standard rates are £16 per hour on weekdays and £20 per hour on weekends. Children’s parties are priced at £80 for up to four hours. Separate pricing applies for evening social events and commercial use, with exact costs provided upon enquiry.

A distinctive feature of the hall is its small raised stage with curtains. It is also well equipped with tables and chairs, and includes a fully fitted kitchen with an oven and fridge, making it a practical and versatile space for a wide range of events.
