🌞 Free Skin Cancer Checks at The Broadway Centre, Sandown

Sandown Town Council, in partnership with The Lighthouse Clinic and Sandown Beach Lifeguards, is pleased to host two special summer visits offering free skin cancer checks for our community.

🩺 Book Your 15‑Minute Appointment

The Lighthouse Clinic’s specialist team will be providing free 15‑minute skin cancer checks, which can be booked directly through this page. Appointments are limited and offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

🎤 Talks Throughout the Day

Alongside the individual checks, there will be informative talks running throughout each visit, covering topics such as:

• spotting early signs of skin cancer
• staying safe in the sun
• practical advice for families, beachgoers, and outdoor workers

These sessions are open to everyone attending the centre on the day.

The Lighthouse Clinic will be with us on Friday 7th and Friday 14th August, offering both the checks and the talks as part of their community outreach.
