Main Hall - (seating capacity 200) Size approx.: 26’ x 50’(450 sq m approx.) Foyer area (seating capacity 15 - 20) Permanent stage area in main hall Disabled toilet and baby changing facilities Hearing aid loop system Kitchen with large domestic cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, double sink and bar servery Parking for 40 cars + 4 disabled driver’s bays. It is a public car park, not exclusive to hirers. Ramp at front of building Hall is on one level Furniture available to hirers: 30 tubular trestle tables (6' x 3') and 200 upholstered plastic stacking chairs Crockery, glassware, table linen and cutlery regrettably are not available First Aid kits not supplied - Hirer is responsible for providing kits for use during period of hire Please note that there are also barbeque facilities for hog roasts etc at an extra charge.
The Abbey Hall - Main Hall Kitchen and Foyer is suitable for baby groups, ceremonies, corporate events, exhibitions, music practice, music events, meetings, parties, weddings, sports and fitness, societies and clubs, theatre productions and training and workshops.

Good atmosphere where you can enjoy sunshine and sunny days. Surely the water isn't good to swim but you can spend your time relaxing in this location.

Wedding party Pros: great location, could have fire pits outside, accessible space, big hall for dancing. Good sized kitchen. Able to decorate as we pleased. Cons: hobs don't work currently. Quite dated decor/hall decor with bright yellow doors etc. Key pad stops working once your booking is finished (very strict time for hiring the hall, not flexible)

We visit this venue weekly as thete is a class for toddlers called Gymaroos. The class is excellent and the three ladies that run it are outstanding. The venue is in a beautiful location and is very clean with great facilities. Highly recommend for private parties etc.

Loverly little park on the shore. There are toilets and a contained playground

Great place to sit and watch the world go by. Ample parking and a coffee van as well.
