The Community Hub Main Hall

The Community Hub is a large venue located on Bondgate with the car park entrance on Tanyard Close. The car park is free for all users of the facility with two disabled parking spaces. The hall is widely used by all members for the Castle Donington community and hosts a Community Café throughout the week. The hall is available for hire and makes a great building for children’s parties, large meetings, and workshops. The venue is wheelchair access, along with accessible toilets with baby changing facilities. Dimensions – 8m wide, 18m long and 3m high down the centre of the building. It will comfortably seat 100 people in rows (theatre style) and 80 people around tables. We now require a £50.00 refundable deposit for a party bookings. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of your party. Additional items include, kitchen hire, extra chairs, large TV, secure WIFI and tea and coffee making equipment. What do you get included with the basic room hire fee? For the basic room hire priced above you get the room, gents, ladies and accessible toilets, 25 chairs and up to 10 tables. How do I get access to the venue? All our venues are looked after by a team of caretakers. They will be at the venue 15 minutes before the booking time to ensure the venue is ready for your arrival. Caretakers will give a business card to the hirer of the venue with emergency contact details if something was to happen during your hire period. At the end of your booking the caretaker will return to ensure the building is left how it was found and lock the building.
