Riverside Centre

The Riverside Centre can be found in an idyllic location at the staithe (off staithe road). The post code is NR35 1BF. There is a small car park (10 car capacity) available to hirers of the Riverside Centre, and access will be made available using a security lock code. The nearest public car park is located in Wharton street NR35 1EL. Street parking nearby is subject to availability. Once inside, the following facilities are available: • 1 first-floor Hall / Meeting Room (30' x 40' / 9.15m x 12.20m) • a fully functioning kitchen with crockery, 2 kettles and large capacity tea pot • 80 chairs and 12 folding tables • heating and air conditioning • a lift (cannot be used in the event of an emergency evacuation) - please enquire re. users who may have difficulty using stairs. • wi-fi • disabled facilities Please note: An adjacent meeting room is in permanent occupation, and mutual respect when considering noise levels is a requirement. It would of course be for your own group to decide on the suitability of the venue for your intended purposes. In our opinion the facility is suitable for clubs, societies, informal meetings and workshop activities. You are most welcome to arrange a viewing, and our hire conditions are available upon request.

The Riverside Centre is suitable for baby groups, ceremonies, corporate events, exhibitions, music practice, music events, meetings, parties, weddings, sports and fitness, societies and clubs, theatre productions and training and workshops.
