Bungay Town Hall

Bungay Town Hall is situated in the heart of the Town on 1A Broad Street. The billiard room extension built in 1892 to the designs of Bernard Smith is Grade II listed. The Town Council currently lets out the Council Chamber. The Council Chamber is an opulently designed billiard room extension to the 'big house' on Broad Street. the hand of the architect is apparent in every detail with a remarkable degree of intactness, down to the flock wallpaper and gas light fittings. It is an ideal venue for a small gathering. The Council chamber is accessed by a flight of stairs and I am afraid is not wheel chair accessible. The Town Council are currently working on a heritage lottery bid which will include the installation of a lift.

The Bungay Town Hall is suitable for ceremonies, exhibitions, music practice, music events, meetings, parties, weddings, societies and clubs and training and workshops.
